Korea may well be called the “Belgium of the East.” Being located between the great powers of China, Russia and Japan it has been caught up in their conflicts. In the North the Russians backed a Stalinist regime with weapons forming the North Korean Peoples Army, NKPA, while in the South a chaotic political situation was about to explode. On June 25, 1950 the NKPA attacked south of the 38thparallel to start the “Forgotten” Korean War.  Chairman Mao, President Truman and General Douglas MacArthur all had their legacies forever etched In history.  Join Lt Col William Latham and Host Bob Gould covering the events leading to and including the start of three years of war.
