Captain Edward Zellem, USN, has written one of the most remarkable books in recent memory about Afghanistan. A 2013 MWSA gold medal winner, his ZARBUL MASALHA 151 Afghan Dari Proverbs, is a fascinating and touching collaborative effort between Zellem and Afghan scholars and students that reveals the richness of Afghan culture, something too long overshadowed by decades of violence.|
